We are experts in creating solutions for our customer's need. Clariant offers a broad range of colorants for viscose dope dyeing.

Viscose is based on the natural raw material cellulose and is used for different textile and non woven applications. Viscose from wood pulps is washed, bleached and pressed into sheets. Afterwards the sheets are dissolved. Then the dissolved viscose is pressed through minute holes in a metal cap (spinneret). Continuous strands are formed, which solidify by passage through a bath of sulfuric acid or hot air. Dope Dyeing means, that the colorants are added to the dissolved viscose before the spinning process takes place. These filaments emerge in the favored color after pressing through the spinneret. Clariant pigment preparations for spinning are especially designed to improve the product quality due to excellent color yield and the filter life for economic processing.
